Thus says the LORD, "Heaven is My throne and the earth is My footstool. Where then is a house you could build for Me? And where is a place that I may rest? For My hand made all these things, Thus all these things came into being," declares the LORD. "But to this one I will look, To him who is humble and contrite of spirit, and who trembles at My word. House of Rest
Will
you build me a house for my dwelling, my son
Will you raise me a building of stone
A dwelling of rest from the work that is done
With a foot stool of silver and gold
Will you fill it with bread, the best of the earth
And richest of wine of the fields
The choicest of fruit of the vine for my thirst
And the finest of wheat for my meal
Yes Father, I'll build for you
A dwelling, your house of rest
Gold and jewels to laden its walls
And abundantly filled
With the finest of grain for your bread
The cost for this house of Thine own precious blood
Will in anguish be sorrowfully paid
But my word will perform that Thy name will be known
In all glory and honor and praise
(Chime and Cello interlude)
Yes Father, I'll build for you
A dwelling, your house of rest
Gold and jewels to laden its walls
And abundantly filled
With the finest of grain for your bread
(Chime and Cello Ending)
